Synopsis:
Joseph Brodsky meets John Donne meets Death – a sound performance based on the “Great Elegy...” by I. Brodsky, “an experience of approaching death”. A description of a walk starting from night London to the depths (heights) of the other world. “Night Journey...” or, a kind of indirect homage to La Divina Kommedia - although John Donne is not quite Virgil, and Brodsky is not Dante at all.

Musical and dramatic suspense - over-drama using the AA method - a combination of Academicism and Avant-garde, based on a specific “motionless” text, the standing of time, the expectation of an event, taking into account the active influence of sound fields emanating from the musicians on stage. ... His guests, poets kindred to him in spirit, gather around the poet and hospitable host Harry Martinson. There is only one condition: everyone comes with their own character and free verse put into their mouth. The only “rebellious one” is the chansonnier, who inappropriately and angrily butts into the lyrical dialogues

The Author Has Nothing To Fear
A solo performance-concert, a program with many specific acting "tricks", that is, playing in the characters, created by a great Master Alexander Galich.
A.Galich is completely unfairly assigned the status of "bard" - let alone one of the leading ones in the Russian-speaking space. There are no doubts that this is a great poet of the second half of the 20th century, and as a poet-chronist (-historian) one of the few who gave an accurate diagnosis of the society in which he lived most of his life. His work, full of humor and tears, suffering and optimism - was one of the sharpest indicators of the state of the country.

Based on Vladimir Sorokin (7th part of the novel “Norma”)

The works of Vladimir Sorokin provide an excellent opportunity to unfold multi-layered situations on stage. This happens thanks to a modern mythological image, which can be designated as the Ghost of the Culture of Humanity. That is, this is not a full-blooded physical character, but a kind of spirit, molded from the traces-imprints of the most important achievements in the history of Culture. It manifests itself through the richness of linguistic associations, the absurdity of the characters’ behavior, and it interferes with shocking elements in a seemingly completely traditional theatrical action.
Thus, in the “Speech of the Chief Prosecutor,” the prosecutor is dealing with the Case of a certain Defendant, who is essentially accused of placing, as a result of his scientific research, the art of the twentieth century above all other achievements of human culture - above Leonardo, Shakespeare, Mozart... Forced, however, during the analysis In this case, to operate with specific cultural evidence and turn to the non-standard logic of the accused, the speaker himself from time to time turns into the Accused.
